Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Enterprise Information Security Group, the remote contract-to-hire Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure automation and operational engineering solutions across on-premises and cloud environments while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support secure automation and operational engineering solutions
• Design and implement operational workflows to enhance efficiency and resilience in security processes
• Provide hands-on engineering support for security systems and collaborate with stakeholders on platform deployments

Required qualifications

• College degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational engineering, automation, or security engineering
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and PowerShell development
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Strong networking knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS solutions
