Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to enhance their detection and response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain security detection tools and platforms
• Conduct initial triage and analysis of security alerts and incidents
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to incident response playbooks

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role focused on security monitoring and incident response
• Experience with cloud security monitoring and incident response in platforms like GCP or AWS
• Solid understanding of security monitoring principles and best practices
• Experience with security detection technologies, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and SOAR
• Knowledge of scripting skills for automation and analysis (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
