Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer who will implement and maintain security controls in a healthcare-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls to protect network systems, patient data, and medical devices
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, privacy, compliance, and legal teams to ensure a secure healthcare environment
• Focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and support the SailPoint Identity Security platform

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Three or more years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or cloud security
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint security, and IAM solutions
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare security regulations
• Understanding of network protocols, encryption, and secure authentication
