Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer who bridges the gap between security compliance and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of technical controls and evidence gathering for compliance standards like ISO 42001 and FedRAMP 20X
• Manage audits, customer questionnaires, and internal IT/Security support requests while identifying and automating workflows
• Rapidly prototype and ship internal tools and scripts using AI-assisted development to enhance automation across teams

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in GRC related audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO, FedRAMP, CMMC)
• Active tracking of AI innovations and automation trends
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments and understanding IAM and network policies
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI development tools
• Experience with compliance automation platforms like Vanta is a plus
