Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering organization, focusing on advancing cyber defense capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detection and response initiatives, ensuring effective handling of security events
• Manage the relationship with the MDR provider and oversee vulnerability management programs
• Conduct threat hunting activities and manage the full lifecycle of security incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years of experience in security engineering or cyber defense roles
• Experience managing MDR providers and a strong focus on detection engineering
• Proficiency with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Pulumi)
• U.S. citizenship required; must be based in the United States
