Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to safeguard its product offerings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to protect against cyber threats
• Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security tools within the cloud infrastructure and establish security monitoring mechanisms

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure security
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes security, including cluster hardening and secrets management
• Experience with cloud security across AWS and/or GCP
• Solid understanding of core security domains such as IAM and network security
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
