Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Humbly Confident Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls, processes, and tooling across the organization
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and conduct security assessments
• Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and support the bug bounty program

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience in security engineering, software engineering, DevOps, IT security, or a related field
• Practical experience with application security, including code reviews and threat modeling
• Experience with security log management tools such as DataDog, Splunk, or ELK
• Must reside in the United States within the Central or Eastern timezone and be authorized to work without sponsorship
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript) is preferred
