Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to lead core elements of its cybersecurity program and enterprise security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Security Operations Center (SOC), guiding alert response strategies and incident reviews
• Oversee the configuration and performance of key cybersecurity platforms and develop cybersecurity performance metrics
• Drive global security governance efforts and maintain internal security policies and operational playbooks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity or information security, with at least 2 years in a technical management role
• Familiarity with managing SOC operations and knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or CISM
• In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance requirements like GDPR and PCIDSS
• Experience with security architecture, risk management, and incident response
