Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Detection & Response Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build out detection engineering capabilities by designing and implementing detection logic across various security tools
• Own and lead security incident response investigations using data analytics and system forensics
• Extend detection capabilities into the product by instrumenting application-level telemetry

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, detection engineering, or incident response
• Strong engineering fundamentals, ideally with a degree in computer science or engineering
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or another programming language
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and EDR technologies
• Familiarity with cloud security fundamentals and incident response in production environments
