Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of secure financial products, the full-time Security Engineer will design and implement security controls for payment infrastructure while working remotely or from San Francisco or New York.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application security initiatives, including secure code reviews and threat modeling for new products
• Own product security for new payment rails and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Design and implement DevSecOps tooling and automation to enhance security across CI/CD and infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering, with at least 3 years focused on application and product security
• Strong experience in full-stack application security, authentication systems, and infrastructure automation
• Proficiency in secure SDLC practices and developer security tooling
• Experience with incident response and security monitoring
• Knowledge of application security for Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and containerized environments
