Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a secure digital accessibility environment, the full-time salaried Security Engineer will triage security alerts, manage vulnerability tools, and operate a security awareness program while working remotely from Ukraine.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial triage of security alerts to assess severity and drive responses to potential incidents
• Monitor and analyze vulnerability management tools, providing remediation guidance to teams
• Operate the security awareness program, including course design and phishing simulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 4-6 years
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM and vulnerability scanners
• Familiarity with business AI tools like Microsoft Copilot or Atlassian Rovo
• Experience in a professional IT environment serving a remote workforce with SaaS-based tools
