Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Engineer will execute testing of functionality, identify defects, and develop Splunk technology add-ons while collaborating with application owners and developers.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute testing of functionality, identify defects, and document onboarding processes
- Analyze log data and develop Splunk technology add-ons to enhance application security data
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts and maintain detailed test documentation throughout the development process
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of working experience, with at least 1 year in IAM or adjacent InfoSec domains, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with IAM technologies
- Deep understanding of Splunk Cloud and Splunk Processing Language (SPL)
- Experience working in a cloud (PaaS) environment
- Knowledge of foundational IAM concepts such as Authentication, Authorization, and RBAC
