Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Engineer will execute testing of functionality, identify defects, and develop Splunk technology add-ons while collaborating with application owners and developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute testing of functionality, identify defects, and document onboarding processes
• Analyze log data and develop Splunk technology add-ons to enhance application security data
• Coordinate troubleshooting efforts and maintain detailed test documentation throughout the development process

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of working experience, with at least 1 year in IAM or adjacent InfoSec domains, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with IAM technologies
• Deep understanding of Splunk Cloud and Splunk Processing Language (SPL)
• Experience working in a cloud (PaaS) environment
• Knowledge of foundational IAM concepts such as Authentication, Authorization, and RBAC
