Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Security Engineer, the successful candidate will implement, manage, and optimize security technologies across corporate systems, cloud environments, networks, and endpoints, while collaborating with technology teams and business stakeholders to enhance the organization's information security program.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to support secure product and service delivery
• Evaluate existing security tools and recommend enhancements or replacements
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity administration, engineering, or security operations
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) preferred
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, including EDR/XDR and cloud security
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing concepts
