Security Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about enhancing security measures, the full-time remote Security Engineer will design, implement, and test security controls while managing endpoint security, overseeing identity and access management, and coordinating penetration testing efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and enforce security policies across global remote workforce endpoints
• Oversee user access controls and manage user lifecycles across enterprise software and cloud environments
• Serve as the primary technical contact for external penetration testing vendors and manage the lifecycle of security assessments

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in security engineering or system administration in a remote corporate environment
• Strong competency in securing operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux) and familiarity with cloud identity providers
• Experience reviewing vulnerability data and collaborating with IT/engineering teams to remediate security flaws
• Clear understanding of networking protocols, firewall architectures, and Zero Trust access frameworks
• Basic comfort with automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for log collection and configuration audits
