Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Enterprise Information Security Group, the contract-to-hire Security Engineer will work remotely, providing technical expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting secure automation and operational engineering solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency in security processes
• Design operational workflows and remediation capabilities to improve security and infrastructure resilience
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security principles are integrated into engineering design and platform deployments

Required qualifications

• College degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational engineering, automation, or security engineering
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and PowerShell development, including hands-on scripting
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source control platforms
• Strong networking knowledge and hands-on experience with REST APIs and network security best practices
