Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the goal of being the most secure company in digital accessibility, the full-time remote Security Engineer will triage security alerts, manage vulnerability tools, and operate the security awareness program while collaborating with business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial triage of security alerts to determine severity and drive response to incidents
• Monitor and analyze vulnerability management tools, providing remediation guidance to teams
• Operate the security awareness program, including course design and phishing simulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 4-6 years
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
• Experience using business AI tools like Microsoft Copilot or Atlassian Rovo
• Exposure to building SaaS applications and modern software engineering practices
