Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Security Engineer will provide technical expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting secure automation and operational engineering solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support secure automation and operational engineering solutions
• Design and implement operational workflows to enhance efficiency and resilience in security processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational requirements and engineering standards are met in platform deployments

Required qualifications

• College degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational engineering, automation, or security engineering
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and PowerShell development
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source control platforms
• Strong networking knowledge and experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises/zero trust environments
