Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security practices across the organization, the full-time remote Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls, partner with various teams to identify risks, and support secure business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application security initiatives, including architecture reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing coordination
• Perform threat modeling exercises and risk assessments to identify potential attack vectors and prioritize risks
• Design and maintain security controls across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems

Required qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical disciplines
• Strong understanding of security principles across applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure
• Experience performing security assessments and risk evaluations
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and OWASP
