Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Platform Team, the full-time remote Security Engineer will strengthen AWS serverless infrastructure, enhance secure development practices, and ensure compliance with SOC, HIPAA, and HITRUST standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop playbooks and address security-related tasks in AWS serverless environments
• Drive improvements in application security, endpoint security, and access management
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to enhance security in CI/CD pipelines and secure application design reviews

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience in a security engineer or security-adjacent role
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC, HIPAA, and/or HITRUST
• 4+ years working with AWS services, including AWS Organizations and Security Hub
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Ability to prioritize work based on business and customer needs
