Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly technical Security Engineer, the full-time remote position will lead security reviews, perform advanced application security testing, and automate security workflows while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance system resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews for web applications, APIs, microservices, and AWS workloads
• Perform advanced application security testing using various tools and techniques
• Conduct threat modeling for new products and critical features to identify vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in application security and AWS cloud security
• Deep understanding of secure SDLC practices and experience embedding security into engineering workflows
• Practical experience with SAST, DAST, and manual penetration testing
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common application attack techniques
• Experience securing AWS environments and reviewing infrastructure-as-code for security issues
