Security Engineer

Job Summary

Taking technical leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Security Engineer will manage day-to-day security tasks, configure and operate security scanning tools, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to protect the Brivity Platform and its data.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and operate security scanning tools to identify and analyze vulnerabilities
• Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and implement processes to prevent recurrence
• Triage, investigate, and escalate security alerts with remediation recommendations

Required qualifications

• Professional experience in security operations engineering or a similar cybersecurity role
• Proficiency with security scanning tools and monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of modern threat environments and mitigation best practices
• Experience with methods of protection, data recovery, and incident response analysis
• Ability to work in an on-call rotation and handle time-sensitive security alerts
