Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the technical side of the security program, the full-time remote Security Engineer will manage vulnerability assessments, operate security monitoring tools, and lead incident response efforts while collaborating with Engineering and Compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run the vulnerability-management lifecycle, including scanning, triage, and remediation
• Operate and enhance security monitoring systems and respond to security incidents
• Implement technical controls for identity and access management and automate security operations

Required qualifications

• Proven ownership of technical security in a production SaaS or cloud environment
• Strong fundamentals in Linux systems, networking, and cloud security
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security monitoring systems
• Practical understanding of IAM, privileged access, and network controls
• Ability to automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or similar tools
