Security Engineer

Job Summary

As the first Security Engineer in a full-time hybrid position, the successful candidate will own the security posture of the organization, shaping strategy and building programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security across products and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to identify, assess, and remediate security risks, proposing improvements as needed
• Perform vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts to resolution
• Design and implement security controls across the technology stack, ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on security, cloud security, or DevOps
• Solid understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling for threat detection and vulnerability analysis
• Proficiency in deploying and operating SAST, DAST, and SCA tools
• Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies
