Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for leading vulnerability management, application security, and AI-driven security automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and manage enterprise risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead application security vulnerability remediation efforts and administer relevant tooling
• Develop detection rules and implement threat detection workflows based on MITRE ATT&CK
• Build and maintain cloud-based automation pipelines to support AI-driven security operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in security engineering with expertise in application security
• Proficient in vulnerability management platforms and MITRE ATT&CK mapping
• Hands-on scripting experience for cloud-based automation, preferably in Python
• Solid understanding of cloud security, EDR, and SIEM administration
