Security Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-oriented, the remote Security Engineer will design and implement security controls across software and AWS infrastructure, strengthen security monitoring and incident response capabilities, and support compliance efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to design, implement, and enhance security controls across software and AWS infrastructure
• Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
• Support compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and ISO audits, while leading technical portions of customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in security engineering, information security, or compliance
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and familiarity with AWS security services
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
• Knowledge of identity and access management, encryption standards, and security tooling
• Experience supporting application security and incident response programs
