Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic security team, the full-time Security Engineer will focus on hands-on coding, incident response, and integrating security practices across the company while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on coding and security implementation, alongside incident response and threat-hunting tasks
• Review and triage security submissions and incident reports, including evaluating bug bounty reports
• Build and improve incident response processes and write security policies and documentation

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PHP and backend engineering principles
• Demonstrated interest or experience in security practices, such as bug bounties or CTFs
• Background in IT, backend engineering, or a related technical field
• Self-sufficient with an ownership mentality and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical risks to non-technical audiences
