Job Summary
Focusing on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform operations, the fully remote Security Engineer will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint security platforms for a diverse customer base while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and monitor CyberMaxx-managed EDR platforms, ensuring routine configuration and operational health checks
- Investigate and resolve endpoint security issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams for complex cases
- Utilize automation tools to streamline operational tasks and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in endpoint security, EDR operations, or a related technical role
- Hands-on experience with at least one EDR platform: CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Practical troubleshooting experience with Windows endpoints; familiarity with macOS or Linux is a plus
- Working knowledge of EDR concepts, endpoint security policies, and basic response actions
- Ability to use PowerShell, Python, or vendor APIs for operational tasks and troubleshooting
