Security Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time remote Security Engineer will design and optimize security controls, lead incident response efforts, and conduct threat hunts to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize technical controls to detect and prevent security incidents
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security best practices into products and processes
• Conduct threat hunts across forensic data lakes and contribute to incident response efforts

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in information security or software development
• Experience securing cloud-native environments and with endpoint detection and response
• Proficiency in automation using languages such as Go, Python, or shell scripts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Systems
• Knowledge of digital forensics and incident response
