Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing security program, the full-time Security Engineer will manage customer security inquiries, oversee SOC 2 compliance efforts, and enhance security operations while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a security subject matter expert on customer calls, addressing security questionnaires and compliance inquiries
• Administer and maintain security tools, including CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, and manage vulnerability assessments
• Support the SOC 2 Type 2 audit process, ensuring compliance and documentation are up to date

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a security engineering, security analyst, GRC, or IT security role
• Direct experience responding to customer security questionnaires and supporting security-related communications
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance and familiarity with GRC tools like Vanta
• Working knowledge of endpoint protection tools, such as CrowdStrike
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts in a Microsoft/Entra ID environment
