Security Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the remote Security Engineer will translate security and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions, partnering with Engineering to implement security controls across software and AWS infrastructure while strengthening monitoring and incident response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve security controls in collaboration with Engineering
• Enhance security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
• Support compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and ISO audits, and lead technical security discussions with enterprise customers

Required qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in security engineering, information security, or compliance
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and familiarity with AWS security services
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
• Knowledge of identity and access management, encryption standards, and security tooling
• Experience supporting application security or incident response programs
