Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of a leading gaming platform, the full-time remote Security Engineer will proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, manage incident responses, and provide security guidance to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the vulnerability management program by triaging and assessing security vulnerabilities, collaborating with engineering teams for remediation
• Conduct comprehensive threat modeling to ensure proposed solutions meet security standards and identify potential attack vectors
• Manage security incident response by reviewing penetration testing results and translating findings into actionable remediation tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in web application security
• Demonstrated expertise with security testing tools such as Burp Suite
• Experience working effectively in fully distributed/remote team environments
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and development teams
