Security Engineer / Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Security Engineer / Architect, the candidate will manage the security of systems, applications, and infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security controls while collaborating with IT Security, Application Development, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security controls in cloud environments and conduct regular vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure
• Champion secure development practices and maintain application security standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Oversee infrastructure remediation workstreams and ensure compliance with security standards and practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an information security or security engineering role
• Hands-on experience with network security tools and securing cloud environments in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with application security practices and common vulnerability types
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux system hardening and administration
• Experience with SIEM platforms and strong understanding of authentication protocols and access management
