Security Engineer (Azure/AWS)

Job Summary

To support a growing cyber security team, the remote Security Engineer (Azure/AWS) will provide first-contact support, lead documentation and remediation efforts, and evaluate security issues while collaborating across teams for a duration of 9 months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance between new colleagues, existing Security team, and wider Product & Technology teams
• Lead the documentation of existing systems and track remediation work to completion
• Evaluate and respond to security and compliance issues generated via analysis or automated tools

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in securing software or infrastructure in Cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Experience in securing systems in line with Well-Architected Frameworks
• Network experience including designing, managing, or troubleshooting networks
• Solid understanding of SAST / DAST / IAST / RASP security tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and securing pipelines
