Security Engineer - Azure Certified

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time Security Engineer - Azure Certified will perform active threat hunting, conduct red team/blue team exercises, and implement security measures across cloud and on-premises environments, with the flexibility to work remotely while adhering to Pacific Time Zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct active threat hunting and red team/blue team exercises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
• Design and implement security controls and monitoring solutions to protect information systems and data
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and manage infrastructure security monitoring tools to respond to security incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in IT with a focus on security
• Experience with Microsoft security solutions, including Defender, Sentinel, and Azure Security Center
• Hands-on experience in threat hunting methodologies and tools
• Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or AZ-500 are preferred
