Security Engineer - Cybersecurity

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Posture, Hygiene & AI Enablement (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement security controls and solutions to enhance security hygiene
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to align security measures with organizational goals
• Utilize enterprise tools for vulnerability management and develop custom integrations for proactive monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and at least 4 years of experience
• Strong understanding of the Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, specifically the CIS 18 framework
• Working knowledge in configuring operating systems such as Windows Servers, Windows Desktops, and Red Hat Linux
• Proficient in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
• Understanding of corporate standards regarding applicable policies and compliance
