Security Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SecOps Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and administer XDR, monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents
• Assist with cloud security configuration reviews and implement security controls
• Support technical remediation tied to compliance initiatives and document findings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Internship or up to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT, software development, or system administration
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
• Understanding of secure coding best practices and cloud security best practices
• Exposure to basic phishing email analysis and incident response lifecycle
