Security Engineer II

Job Summary

Proactively identifying and responding to emerging security threats, the full-time salaried Security Engineer II will lead key deliverables of the security program, collaborate across teams, and manage core tooling in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advance deployment of AI to the Security Operations Center (SOC) function and manage core tooling such as SIEM and orchestration platforms
• Respond to incidents, investigate, and collaborate across teams to resolve security issues
• Develop detection techniques to identify anomalous behaviors and support broader security projects including threat modeling and vulnerability scanning

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in detection, response, or security engineering
• Experience working security incidents, particularly those involving engineering
• Hands-on experience in an AWS + EKS environment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Golang
• Familiarity with AI tooling and understanding of associated organizational risks
