Security Engineer Investigator

Job Summary

Proactively hunting for threats, the full-time salaried Security Engineer Investigator will investigate complex cases related to abuse, particularly on GenAI products, while working remotely and leveraging a variety of data sources to implement effective enforcement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for threats and undetected abuse using internal and external intelligence sources
• Investigate complex cases to understand abuse mechanisms and implement mitigation strategies
• Analyze large datasets to advance investigations and quantify trends or findings

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, private sector investigations, or related government roles
• Experience with Python, PHP, or similar scripting languages
• Proven experience in large-scale data analysis using tools like Maltego, Palantir, or Tableau
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related fields
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
