Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer V - Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the embedded security lead for product teams handling sensitive data, providing real-time guidance on architecture and data handling
• Implement security hardening measures across AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application code
• Translate government compliance frameworks into practical guidance for engineering teams and maintain a security roadmap

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, particularly in application security and/or DevSecOps practices
• Cloud security expertise on AWS, including securing compute, storage, networking, and identity
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tooling and government compliance frameworks
• Scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python or JavaScript
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
