Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a specialized team of security engineers, the full-time remote Security Engineering Manager will manage application security, cloud security, and AI system security initiatives while translating technical risks into actionable strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers while conducting performance evaluations
• Define and execute a security engineering roadmap that aligns with product engineering needs and business initiatives
• Champion shift-left security practices and own application security tooling to systematically address vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling, guiding engineering teams on remediation
• Deep understanding of securing cloud-native applications and services on AWS
• Working knowledge of OWASP LLM Top 10 and security considerations for AI systems
• Experience with AI-assisted security tools to enhance team output
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO/SOC, PCI, and FedRAMP
