Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of security engineers, the full-time Security Engineering Manager will manage the security engineering function across Application, Infrastructure, and Corporate security while maintaining a hands-on approach to alert triage and incident response in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and cultivate a culture of ownership and engineering excellence within the security engineering team
• Own the holistic security roadmap, balancing proactive initiatives with security operations
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to implement security-by-design practices and advocate for security investments

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in security or infrastructure engineering with a successful transition to engineering management
• Deep technical fluency in at least one security domain (Detection, AppSec, or InfraSec)
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex security strategies across organizational boundaries
• Operational discipline in managing security operations, including on-call and incident response
• Startup agility and a proactive, hands-on leadership style
