Job Summary

Leading a team of security engineers, the full-time Security Engineering Manager will drive the strategic direction of Application Security for Amazon services, fostering a collaborative culture while managing complex stakeholder engagements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Security Engineers and Technical Program Managers focused on Application Security
• Set strategic goals and establish priorities for the Application Security review team
• Drive improvements to internal programs and processes while enhancing operational efficiency through security automation and tooling

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams
• 5+ years of experience in a software security team or related operating environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Knowledge of web services security, cryptography, and network security protocols
• Experience with threat modeling or risk identification techniques
