Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of security engineers, the full-time Security Engineering Manager will drive enterprise-wide security strategy, incident response, and vulnerability management while working remotely to protect critical business assets and foster a security-first culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Security Engineering team through technical leadership, coaching, and performance management
• Implement and maintain enterprise security strategies, policies, and controls that align with business objectives and regulatory frameworks
• Manage security operations, including incident response, threat detection, and continuous improvement of the organization's security posture

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience with prior people leadership or team management experience
• Strong expertise in enterprise security operations and vulnerability management
• Experience securing cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or GCP
• Demonstrated experience implementing security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
