Job Summary

Leading a dedicated mobile security team, the full-time salaried Security Engineering Manager will hire and develop talent, define technical strategies, and drive the delivery of secure mobile application initiatives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Security Engineers and a Technical Program Manager in mobile security reviews and automated detection
• Set and maintain the mobile security standards for Amazon's applications, ensuring effective detection and guidance
• Establish metrics frameworks to quantify mobile security's impact and report progress to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a software security team or related environment
• 3+ years of experience in people management
• Experience with data analytics to identify problems and provide strategic recommendations
• Familiarity with application security frameworks, security code reviews, and mobile security practices
