Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Senior Security Engineers, the full-time remote Security Engineering Manager will manage performance, oversee client engagements, and implement security policies while driving team development and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and support Senior Security Engineers, including performance management and career development
• Oversee client delivery by conducting security assessments, implementing security policies, and managing cloud security solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into client IT infrastructure and develop operational procedures for the MSSP practice

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CEH, or CISM
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Security Engineer or in a similar technical role within managed IT or security services
• 2+ years of direct people management experience, including performance reviews and coaching
• Strong understanding of security technologies and frameworks across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity domains
