Security Engineering Senior Manager

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of security controls across multiple product security engineering teams, the fully remote Security Engineering Senior Manager will manage day-to-day operations, drive integration of security practices, and build relationships with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex security engineering matters and translate security strategy into actionable goals
• Manage teams focused on strategic security architecture and promote secure software best practices across the organization
• Design and implement security controls to address business and technology challenges while assessing security technology support needs

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial role
• Deep understanding of secure software development, vulnerability management, and cloud security
• Experience with modern security frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including DevSecOps and CI/CD security
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD), Agile SCRUM methodologies, and secure SDLC
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning in security
