Security & Identity Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Security & Identity Engineer will support an external software development organization by designing, securing, and delivering the foundations of an enterprise AI platform, focusing on threat modeling, tenant isolation, and compliance-by-design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and secure production software platforms, ensuring security decisions are integrated into the architecture
• Define and contribute to platform threat models, applying them to architecture and delivery decisions
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure compliance-by-design practices and secure delivery practices are followed

Required qualifications

• Experience designing and securing production software platforms in multi-tenant or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and least-privilege access patterns
• Ability to design and review tenant isolation models across various boundaries
• Familiarity with secure CI/CD practices, including secrets management and policy enforcement
• Strong communication skills to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
