Security & Identity Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting an external software development organization, the remote Security & Identity Engineer will design, secure, and deliver the foundations of an enterprise AI platform, focusing on threat modeling, tenant isolation, identity, and compliance-by-design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architecture for production software platforms, ensuring security is integrated from the start
• Collaborate with client teams to establish threat models and apply security practices across various environments
• Review and develop tenant isolation models and secure CI/CD practices to maintain compliance and security standards

Required qualifications

• Experience in designing and securing production software platforms, particularly in multi-tenant or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and least-privilege access patterns
• Proven ability to define platform threat models and apply them to architectural decisions
• Familiarity with secure CI/CD practices, including secrets management and policy enforcement
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR
