Security Incident Commander

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Security Incident Commander, the full-time role will lead incident response strategies and communications for critical security incidents, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate response and remediation for high-criticality security events
• Prepare and deliver communications, including executive summaries, to key stakeholders during incident responses
• Conduct scenario-based exercises to enhance incident management and response strategies

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of total cybersecurity professional experience or equivalent education
• 4-6+ years of deep domain expertise in incident response and/or incident management
• Experience leading complex security incidents to resolution end-to-end
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
• Experience planning and/or orchestrating tabletop exercises is a plus
