Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Officer to lead security, privacy, and compliance for SaaS products and client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the security program across SaaS products and client projects, setting strategy and measurable outcomes
• Oversee SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 readiness and compliance, including control design and auditor coordination
• Establish a repeatable client engagement security plan and maintain an incident response program

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in information security, particularly in SaaS or professional services
• Strong understanding of application and cloud security fundamentals
• Demonstrated ownership of SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 programs
• Knowledge of privacy requirements including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA
• Experience building security and privacy processes in real delivery environments
